Course Overview
This 5-day course will cover all aspects of conducting Protective Operations in high-threat environments.
A strong emphasis will be placed on reacting to threats.

- Protective operations planning and mission preparation
- Venue, Route, and Advances
- Arrival / Departure considerations
- Threat awareness and risk mitigation
- Protective movement and team coordination
- Three-vehicle motorcade model, roadblocks, vehicle transfers
- Attacks on Principal
- Practical scenario-based evolution across multiple venues in the Phoenix Metro area
Required Gear
- Pistol, magazines, 300+ rounds of frangible ammo, concealable/low visibility gun belt
- Sims pistol, 150+ rounds of marking cartridges
- Body armor, eye/ear protection
- Radio w/earpiece
- Range attire for days 1-4, “Patagonia Casual” attire for day 5 scenario
Instructor Background
Instructors: All three instructors have extensive operational experience in Protective Operations in high-threat environments. Each instructor carried the responsibility of providing both high-profile and low-profile protection for dignitaries, heads of state, case officers, and operatives conducting sensitive intelligence operations overseas as well as within the continental US.
Students will receive the unique opportunity to gain knowledge, skills and tactics from instructors who have learned hard lessons in Protective Operations in warzones and highly contested locations during the height of the Global War on Terror.
